Twin for every one?

alrighty yet another debate, (i doubt this one will last more than 2 days lol)

Well anyway, i often hear people say they could have staked their life they saw someone but that person was not at the place they said they saw them......Like this one person thought he saw my mom in a town about 50 miles away, but she claims to never have been there, there for, there is some one who looks close to identical...

Since people have noticed this often, they claim there is a twin for every one somewhere in the world...But rarley do these so called twins ever meet....

i think people may look similar have similar characteristics and from a distance could look be mistaken for a different person, but no i dont believe there is a twin for everyone.

no, I don't believe that. I agree with alex I think that people may be mistaken for other and some people look the same but...yeah not identical

"there is some one who looks close to identical..." no two people on this planet are EXACTLLY THE SAME, actually i wondered about that before, identical twins can't be identical if no two people has the same finger prints haha!, anyway, i dont mean exactlly the same but very similar,

Hmm.. Tough question, depends on your beliefs. If you're athiest, you most likely believe in science. Meaning, organisms are born as individuals so no one has the EXACT personality-some may look alike though. If you're a creationist, you could believe that there might be an exact twin out there somewhere.

As far as I'm concerned, I'm the only me-although, it's comforting to think there would be someone out there just like me.

lol but, no one ever meets these people who look like them....well not usually anyway.......i cant think of an explanation for that :-/

Yeah you probably get people who are very similar, but I doubt there is anyone identical to you unless of course they are actually your twin.
