My older brother is about 10 years older then me, when he was starting high school he tricked me into doing stuff on him. I didn't know what it was at the time and believed him so I started doing it. When I got a little older and learned what it really was I totally stopped and would never do it again. I now of course totally hate him and don't even talk to him unless I have to. My parents are mad I don't get along with him now, but I would be way too embarassed to ever let anyone know about it

It is illegal, it is statutatory rape and incest. You shouldn't feel embarrassd to tell. Tell someone now or else the pain will get worse and cause a rift in your family.

it would cause problems if i did tell anyone too. and it was over a few years ago. I just think i would die if other people, especially anyof the guys at school, ever found out i was stuid enuff to be tricked into doing blowjobs on my own brother and one of his buds

They wouldn't have to find out. If you told the authorities, like you should, then it would be confidential.

Yes, like Michael said, it's rape, and incest.
You should tell your parents, so your brother can't harm anyone else.

u know how it would go... eventually EVERYONE would find out why my brother and his friend went to jail and it would be AWEFUL

Well with the police, it would be fully confidential.
You will probably have no problems with your family telling [What mom would want to say 'My son got sent to jail for rape and incest' and what brother would want to say 'I got sent to jail for raping my brother'] and the police aren't legally allowed to tell anyone outside of the case, so you could make up a story, like he stole something really valuable or something like that.

His friend? You have to tell the police now! Don't worry about the consequences, usually if someone is convicted for rape, thats as much people ( kids especially ) will look into it.

Ok, (sorry if this comes off as if i had an attitude)
Legally: Yes, it was rape. And is highly illegal. It can also be classified as molesting children etc.
but
Morally: No you weren't. You consented, regardless of whether you were tricked or not. YOU COULD SAY NO. But you didn't. You knowingly engaged in a sexual act.

I am sorry that you had to go through this. How do you see things going from here?
I'm going to be picky here. It would be classed as statutory rape though I think the term sexual abuse would fit better. It is not your fault that this happened. You weren't even aware of what was going on. He is the one to blame, not you.

It is not consent since the person was not in the age of consent ( since you did use the word consent ) that is putting it legally on top of the assumption that the brother was problably over the age of consent which would be automatically making it rape.
Morally it was not consented due to the fact that the OP stated that he himself did not know at the time what he was doing.
In otherwords the brother abused his sibling.
Both morally and legally
What you choose to do about it is your own responsibility but you should do whats best for you and others.

It is illegal. The close age exceptions only go down to 16, and your brother had to be younger than 24. It was rape, because whethyer you gave your consent or not, you were under the age of consent and the close age exception law.

It doesn't matter if it happened a while ago.
As long as you have that with you, its going to destroy your family.
And yourself.
My mom was molested as a child basically the same way but by her brothers friend.
And it still haunts her to this day.
It's best if you just tell them.

He just wanted to know if it was rape. You probably missed that post, but he said there wouldnt be proof that he was raped by his brother.

You guys have to remember this is his brother and the best thing for him to do is to talk to him first instead of trying to get him arrested. They still have a brotherly bond and maybe he feels bad about doing it.

Take a look here:
I now of course totally hate him and don't even talk to him unless I have to.
I dont think talking is the best answer.
Usually thats what you should do first, but in a situation like this, it doesn't work very well.

In a situation like this it is the best thing. Of course he's not gonna want to talk to him (I read the whole thread). They need to talk and of course with their parents around they need to settle this without any kind of law enforcement involvement.

How do you settle abuse?
When you find out let all of us know :P

I don't know how you could possibly settle this. This isen't just terrible, its evil, wrong, and his older brother should be in jail for what he's done. Getting the treatment from other inmates that he put on his brother. Then maybe that sick bastard will know how it feels.

But still this is his brother not some creepy guy down the street. There has to be a reason why he did this and instead of finding out and getting him help you guys just want to ship him off to jail and label him a sex offender for life.

If i had a brother and he ever did that to me, he wouldnt be my brother. I would want to rip his heart out. Nothing seperates him from some creepy guy down the street besides the fact that he actually had the nerve to do this shit to his own brother, flesh and blood. Honestly he's a sick fuck. Doing that to someone you don't know too well is one thing (still terrible) but to actually do that to family makes you scum. I hope he rots in hell.

This has happened to me before and I know how he feels and I'm just stating my OPINION of what to do so why even argue or debate it? All I'm saying is would you rather see your brother rot in jail or get help?

No it isn’t…..it’s the creepy molesting brother who lives literally in the next room.
There has to be a reason why he did this and instead of finding out and getting him help you guys just want to ship him off to jail and label him a sex offender for life.
Well......he is a sex offender? He should be tried and sentenced for his actions. Even if he would claim insanity, at least justice will have taken its toll on him – partly – and he would be getting the “help” he requires. Though if it was insanity, why would he bring a friend along as well?
Just my opinion :)

Me? Im not debating, Im just giving my honest opinion. This is what I feel needs to be done and what I feel the OP should have done. Simple as that :)

OK This thread has been derailed enough. Anymore off topic posts WILL merit an infraction, and I will lock the thread. So WATCH IT.

What do you mean "so watch it?" I was posting with relation with the topic, I said its my honest opinion and what the OP should have done? At least I’m engaging the topic and didn’t just say "I'm not debating." so no I don’t think I have derailed you need to aim that threat somewhere else. If this gets me an infraction well boohoo I’m contributing to the forum and not contributing meaninglessly, I gave me opinion, and when someone claimed I was trying to start a debate, I said I wasn’t and explained that it was my opinion on the matter relating to the THREAD.
