I hate being bipolar so much! I take medicine and it helps a lot but it never completly goes away! I knew i had it for a while because ive been diagnosed but never knew the simtomps looked here and i have 3/4 of them...

its really annoying i never shut up and i keep talking and my parents listen most of the time because they under stand but they get annoyed also... Manic-depressive illness may begin either with manic or depressive symptoms.

It really sucks to have bipolar but it runs in our family along with OCD witch most of the people in are family have and i have adhd.... witch my sister has and my nephew.... my mom has ocd and bipolar and most of out reltives have ocd and bipolar alot of people have adhd.... our family is filled with disorders.... and it sucks...

Well, everybody has something, this is what you've got. At least your family can understand and appreciate what you've got and how it affects you since others have it, too. That's not such a bad thing.

The good news is that it sounds like you're being treated for it, which means that with time, whatever symptoms you've got should be more manageable, so stay with it, keep taking your meds and talking with your doctors.

It sucks, I know.
My family used to be bad at supporting me,
But they've gotten a lot better at it.
And believe me, a surpportive family is the best type of medicine that you can have.
But hey, that's excellent that your medication works most of the time,
Meds arn't always going to be effective,
So working most of the time is astounding.
You've got a lot of good going for you hun, and that's nice to hear!

Well look at it this way your meds work alot better for you then for most bi-polars

And you atleast have a family that can honestly say '' we understand what your going through ''

As has been said, you're lucky to have parents who support you about it, my parents never really like to talk about it with me, it's seen ass almost a taboo subject.

But yer I know it can be a horrible thing to have, and can suck when it runs in the family, but at least you're coping more than most people, that's a good thing.
