when i ask my girlfriend to hang out with me, sure, she says yes and whatever. so ill ask her what shes doin tomorrow and if she wants to see me then. usually yes. but if i dont ask her anything, she wont ask me anything. like if i didnt ask to see her for 3 days she would never make an attempt to see me. its not like shes sick of me or something, its just how she is

The important thing is that when you ask, she says yes. That means she likes you and enjoys time with you.

Don't overanalyze or take it personally, why it's not recriprocated, why she never asks you. Maybe she's just shy, maybe she's not comfortable being that forward, maybe she believes that guys ask girls, who knows, but it's not necessarily a reflection of how she feels about you. Because if she didn't want to be with you, she'd turn you down.
