there is a section on jackinworld.com for this: http://www.jackinworld.com/library/articles/lubes.html

you don't have to read the whole thing. In boldface there's some catagories, like vaseline, baby oil, ky, etc. and you can browse from there.

As I like to advise, read the label. If there's anything you either cannot pronounce, or you cannot make logical sense of, or anything at all with the word 'Alcohol', you shouldn't use it. Likewise, just b/c something is slippery doesn't mean it's a good thing to either rub on your penis, or possibly get in the opening/hole. a 'moisturizer' is very different than a 'lubricant', eventhough both seem slippery at first. And never use soap or conditioner, as they're entirely too basic (rememebr that Ph term from chem?) and can cause irritation/dryness/ burning.

Any type of soap, shampoo, or conditioner shouldn't be advised, because it can cause irritation or rash if it dries there or gets into the urethra. However, it will go away quickly with a little baby powder. It just stings until then.

Conditioner is really not bad at all as a lube...

The only thing I can say is dont use shampoo or soap as it will irritate your penis.

I was just going to put something similiar to that, but you have it spot on.

It can cause rashes or irritations.

never use vaseline for lube to help get on a condom though. the condom may break during sex

yeah. condoms are made out of latex and latex can break easiliy when it's exposed to a oil-based lube like vaseline. You should use ky lubricant or water-based lubricant for condoms.

Experiment w/ lubes, so you know which ones work and which ones dont. For me, its everything I use to shower. My shampoos, my body washes, etc.

Oh, and vaseline is a good lube. But use vaseline alone. Dont use it with something else.

Trust me do not use any type of shampoo/soap/etc. It can cause dryness that HURTS  and itches, so.... just don't do it. I found saliva works just fine unless u don't like the idea of it on ur penis.
