i have alot of questions about this, because i had my first period in may, and i haven't gotten another one yet, but what should i do? should i mark on the calendar the time that i would have it on a monthly basis? i don't know when my next period will be, and i want to be prepared for it. also, how do i know when the period is finished? when i got my first period, i bled for about a day and a half, but i don't know how long or when my next period will be. what should i do?

I'd keep a pad or tampon handy in your purse in case.
Keeping track on a calender is a good idea, that way you get an idea of what your cycle may be like. Of course it's going to be irregular for a couple of years, so it's hard to know how long each are and how far apart they'll be, but no worries. As you go along, you'll get a feeling for when you're starting and ending and how to be prepared best for yourself.
When you're towards the end or the cycle, generally you'll start bleeding much lighter and have some brown discharge.

ya u probably should keep a tampon or pad with you. a girls period is at first irregular but should come every 28-30 days on average. and you will usually bleed for 3-8 days and the amount will become lighter towards the end of your cycle. hope i helpped.

The calender idea is good :)
Most girls have irregular periods the first few months or so... so it's pretty normal :)
Just keep a tampon/pad in your bag or something :)
If you're like me you may get cramps a few days before telling you it's coming </3

Yes i agree carry a pad or tampon because it could happen any day or anytime !! Yh i think that you should mark on the calender when you get ur period and you will not know when it will happen for the first few years of your period . But when you start havin your period more often you will no
when your period is !! :P
