Ok this stuff is getting ridiculous he just came out with a new ad saying Obama promises higher taxes for middle class, senior citizens, and small businesses. Obama promised a tax break for them. If you haven't seen it I'll post it when I find it.

I know, on my break last night I decided to watch some TV. And the commercials were littered with all his "ads." I got so pissed off that I stopped watching TV.

well that's politics for you. i can't vote yet but if i could i wouldn't vote obama. his morals and values suck. mccain may be an old guy but atleast he's not young and arrogant like obama. arrogance is useless and totally moronic. having confidence is cool but having a conceeded attitude is not. the candidates all post stuff. and by calling mccain is a lair is a total hypocritical statement when you compare him to obama the king of idiotic reasons to lie to the public. as for his racist wife she is the queen of racism.

If you haven't seen it I'll post it when I find it.Obama can promise all he wants that he won't raise taxes on the middle class but that simply isn't reality. He plans to do a lot of spending and raising taxes on the wealthy by having the Bush tax cuts expire simply won't be enough.

Politicians promise all kinds of things like no new taxes but once they're securely in office they can very well do the opposite of what they promised.

Wow, not only is that a load of bullshit, you also need to suport your opinion with facts, like this:

As a somewhat close follower of the compain, and freinds of close followers, i have never heard or heard of any racist comments she has made.

Obama is not arrogant, he is a smart man

Here's an exact description of McCain's inaccurate ads:

http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/more_tax_deceptions.html

It's really beginning to frustrate me. First, the vacuous "celebrity" ads and now this. This is not the John McCain I liked back in 2000. As a swing voter, behavior like this is a major turn-off.

Some of the stuff, like the electricity tax, seems totally made-up. I don't know why he suddenly decided to make his ads much more dishonest. It's really disappointing to me.

Well, this is all just simple politics. It's nothing but fully constructed bashing and flaming of your opponent. So, I'm not very surprised about this. I don't like the fact that McCain has compared Obama to stars like Paris Hilton and such.

I know it's politics but still some politicians at least mention their policies.

Agreed Thomas. Ever since McCain launched the ad comparing Obama to these celebs he's done nothing but bash him and doesn't talk about his policies and people are cheering him.

They both negatively attack each other. But politicians wouldn't mudslug if it weren't effective so even though voters may dislike it, it must effect the opinion of people.

I have seen a lot of things that said he does have in his plans to raise it, and that is not just based on McCains attack ads. However I do agree there are a lot!

EDIT: That site above is somewhat biased. Not very but somewhat unless Obama is an almost perfect canadate and never lies/misleads, etc/

No, Obama would never lie, John, he's a perfect human being. I'm not going to lie, I'm starting to see Obama as arrogant. He's a wonderful public speaker, but that just means that he is persuasive and has the ability to make people believe what ever he wants them to believe. And that bashing is really just a part of politics. It's even in the campaign process from my government book. Attack opponents to gain the advantage. What we really need is Bill Clinton to be president again. So he can fix all the problems the Bushs' created, again. He seemed to do a good job of it after Bush Sr., then Bush Jr. just had to come and fuck everything up after Clinton fixed it.

That was sarcasm right? :P

I think that Bill Clinton would be doing a great job right now. Hell Hillary would be doing a great job right now. We need Bill for his talents on economy. I hear time and time again that those were the best times for American as far as economics is concerned and although I don't really remember much but I have to agree. I feel that people are too happy for Obama because he's a democrat, black, and he speaks well. I feel that about half of the people actually know his issues and agree with him.

Yes that was sarcasm.

Clinton had one of the best presidencies. He fixed the economy to the best state it's ever been in, I believe. He restored some peace (of course not all, because that will just never happen, that war has been going on for centuries). Sadly, his great presidency will always be overlooked by one bad thing.
