How do i get the guy?

Hi everyone I am a guy and i am gay(Hate me if u want I don't care what homophobics think), and I have a crush on a close friend but I don't know how to find out if he is gay. And, if he is gay, how do i know if he likes me/how do i get him to be my bf?

Ok first off, I'll never hate you; seeing as I love all people :). Second you should just try to get close to him. Maybe spend some time together, then when you feel real comfortable ask him if he is in fact gay. That probably the only way you'll know and then you can ask him.
