ok so i really like my friend, i no people say not to date ur friends but i really like her, and i dont no how to find out if she likes me or if she doesnt without being too forward so i dont make it uncomfortable, she always laughs and smiles at me but i cant tell and ideas?

I was honest with her. I just told her the truth. There are silly little mind games that you could play to find out her real feelings about you. I found my method worked. She didn't like me, but we got over it and we are still good friends.

1) It's Ok to go out with a friend, good friends make good 'friends', it's a natural progression. And, if it gets complicated, better that should happen with someone you already know and trust as a friend.

2) The best way to find anything out is to simply ask them. Straightforward, direct, to the point. Why waste time, and besides, if you like them enough to go out with them, you should at least feel Ok asking them about this directly.

If you ask people what they value most in a relationship, 'Honesty' is always at or near the very top.
