I have an issue with animals. dont get me wrong, i love them. the issue is that..i see them and treat them like my friends and that theyre people. i feel like theyre the only real friends i have. is that weird? i mean, i just want more and more animals to take care of! ><;;

Well I think this is fairly common, people treating animals like people.
They are so easy to get attached to and some people just want more and more.
But you have to draw the line somewhere and you have to remember that they are just animals.
But its fine to like them.

There's a reason dog's have been 'Man's best friend' forever. They are respectful, obedient, loyal, affectionate, consistent. Other pets, too.

It's easy to get attached to them emotionally, they give what they get, and if you're sensitive enough and aware enough to give them what they need and treat them the way they need to be treated, they return it. What's not to adore there, so what that they're a different species!

The task is to recognize that the need to be emotionally attached is a universal need, and if you are able to establish that with a critter, then you can do that with a member of your own species. And, you can take them into a restaurant (amongst other places and things!)

well theres only one animal i think of like that my dog whos wayyy older than me is like my mom almost she always looks after me and i always look after her.

So to be honest i know how you feel and no its not wierd. :)

I h ave three huskies and I treat them nicely, but not really like humans. I love them really I do, but they are bed hoggers and beggers. Plus they love to bark, so i get mad at them some times.

i just love animals so much, theyre people to me :) i have two calico cats, a yorkshire terrier, two beta fish, and just yesterday i added a new member to my family, her name is Soubi and shes a ham-ham :)

This is completely normal. In fact in some cases, they might be the only true friends. That is what pets are for anyways. To love and play.
