ok so i heard that if you take birth control, it speeds up puberty. Is that true? Is it dangerous or bad for you?

I dont believe you can speed up puberty with any supplement.
Even if you could, it would probably be bad for you.
So don't take birth control just to speed up puberty, and only use it as directed.
(Using any pill otherwise is very dangerous, prescription or otherwise.)

I've never been on birth control,
My understanding is that:
It just releases certain hormones so that you're body willl not be able to produce a baby after having unprotected sex, and possibly fewer periods depending on the brand.

The pill prevents fertilised eggs from attaching to the wall of the uterus. It categorically does not speed up puberty.
