i don't play that game with my lips anymore. i wear lip moisturizer, or lip gloss everyday. when lips are dry they are a pain, and you keep licking them.

Perhaps the climate has changed in your area, resulting in dryer conditions where you need the chapstick to hydrate your lips.

The short answer is that your lips are dry now.

For whatever reason, they're dry, perhaps b/c you've exposed them to the sun w/o protection. Lips are pretty sensitive, btw, so if they get sunburned, they will chap, and it will be more noticeable to you.

Apply whatever works for you, chapstick, or vaseline jelly before bed, and if you're outside for any length of time, use a sun screen on all exposed areas, lips too!
