My Mum Reks That Me & 2 Of My Sisters Have Bipolar Or Manic Depression.
She Reks We Get It From My Dad, As He Is Aparently Mental.
Would Help If Someone Enlightened Me.

i think bipolar is a disease that causes a persons feelings to be to the extreme and they have their ups and downs. if i'm wrong someone can correct me.

By the sounds of it, your mum is just reacting to the mood swings that come hand-in-hand with puberty badly. If she's so willing to say that she reckons that three of her children have a mental illness then I would be more inclined to disagree than anything else.

What does she say is wrong with your dad? Describing him as "mental" leaves a lot of room for misinterpretation.

I agree with this. And as Sugar and Spice said, saying someone is 'mental' is a fairly sweeping statement to make. Just because someone in your family is 'mental' does not mean that you will automatically have a mental disorder yourself, but sometimes mental disorders can run in the family.
