I used nvu, but it is screwed up...
Can you think of a low price or free WYSIWYG that uses FTP to publish?

I hated NVU too. There isn't any free wysiwyg (what you see is what you get for those who don't understand) editors other than NVU that i know of. I would recommend learning basic HTML through http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp if i were you and use your basic knowledge to screw around with free templates. I always find that free templates are better than anything i could ever create.

WYSIWYG editors may be useful to those that are just starting out, but I use a simple plain text editor for all of my work. It doesn't cost anything and I know that the page/code is going to be implemented exactly the way I want it to be.
Therefore, I can't really offer much advice for WYSIWYG editors, but I can recommend a program called Notepad++ (a plain text editor with nice features including tabs and plugins).

Im with ben, i dont use WYSIWYG i just use simple text editors but i also sometimes use a program called context its a neat little program where you can use many codes but you do need to know them first :P
