What age do guys usually start shaving? What age did you start?

Guys usually start shaving around 1-2 years into pubic development. Once it starts getting popular and guys start getting more sexually active with girls, they tend to shave more often just for common courtesy towards the girl and just so it looks more appealing.

It's a personal preference. Some guys like to grow it for a bit when they're starting as a sign of "masculinity". Other like to keep it clean. It'll really depend on you. Mind that when you shave. The hair will grow back with a "gruffy" look and a a coarse texture to it.

I started this year, I am 13. Like Ryandel said, it does come back with a gruffy feeling and weird look. When I shave, it don't each, but with most people, they say it does.

There is no right age to start shaving, and when you should start shaving entirely depends upon when you develop enough facial hair to justify your needing to shave. Don't feel self conscious if you don't have facial hair right now as a lot of folks just are not very hairy and don't start shaving until they are 18+. If you really want to learn how to shave for the sake of doing so, then ask your father or older brother to show you how to do so. You are going to have to learn one way or the other, and it won't hurt you to learn how to shave now if you are interested.
