Ok so a month ago I applied for a job and got a call to come in today for a meeting. I didn't know whether I had the job or not.
After a few hours it was so painfully obvious that I had the job. I totally got a job at the local music store! I went in just today at 9 and tried everything out the entire day. Its my first job.
They need seasonal workers to help with rentals (about 15 people in total), since the school year is starting and people will need instruments for the new season.
I'm in the store, at the counter. Today I learned how to use the cash register, get water, get instruments from the warehouse, stock the rental shelfs, sell items, start rentals, exchange rentals, help them make a payment, convert, and return rentals. I'm going to go back next week and do the same thing. major wootage here!! :yeah:
