erm... Have you installed the lastest updates for your browser or it could be a virus you might have.

It is generally bad to avoid update as they fix problems. They also try to keep up 2 date with viruses and stuff.(no substitute for Norton/avg/other anti virus company's)

That's a very odd issue.

Could you tell me a few things?

1) What operating system are you using (Windows 98, Windows XP, Mac OSX, etc.)?
2) Is it only happeneing on Internet Explorer or does this happen with other browsers?
3) What version of Internet Explorer are you using?
4) Have you tried installing updates for your operating system and Internet Explorer?
5) Do you have a firewall (if so, what kind)?
6) Do you have an antivirus (if so, what kind)?
7) If you have a firewall and/or an antivirus, do you keep them up-to-date?

1. i'm using windows xp
2. it only happens on internet explorer
3. i can't figure that out, it just says internet explorer, with a blu e as the icon
4. i think i've done a few updates
5. i couldn't find a firewall on the desktop, but i searched in "my computer," and it said i have Windows Firewall in the control panel.
6. is spybot search and destroy an anti virus?
7. how exactly do you keep them up to date? sometimes i get pop ups about being ready for updates of some sort, but i usually ignore them.

IE is a bitch

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/?gclid=CNeV0PPb8pQCFQRJFQod5VhbrQ

try firefox, i seldom get thoes error messages, and it saves your work when it does do that (& also rarely closes it, just tells you that its not responding & fixes the problem)

yasmine, i had the same problem a week or 2 back. it was so frustrating, then all of a sudden its been ok ever since. i installed a windows update and was ok after that, so maybe that was it?

i think i'll try that. i'm thinking it has something to do with that flashing signature.

Well if you're Windows installation is legal (which it should be if it came on the computer that you bought), then you can do updates by going to http://update.microsoft.com - for your operating system and for Internet Explorer.

It sounds like you're not an avid updater, so I'd like you to close out all programs that you do not need to have open (in other words, the only thing that should be running is Internet Explorer). Then browse to http://update.microsoft.com and follow the instructions that appear, as the page will change whenever it needs to. Make sure you include software and optional updates (not just high-priority updates). You may have to wait a while depending on your connection's and computer's speed. Just make sure that all the updates successfully complete and then restart your computer. After your computer fully loads, close out unneeded programs and return to http://update.microsoft.com to see if you need anymore updates (there may be updates to the updates). Repeat this until there are no more updates that it finds for your computer.

Then come back to VirtualTeen and see if the problem is solved. If you have any problems, let me know.

I had that same problem! i just installed the beta IE 8 and it went away. it has an IE7 emulator inside it, so it works great. also, I use firefox as my main browser.

I don't like IE. I just keep it on my computer because they've made it to where you have to have Internet explorer to view te update page to install Windows updates.

The exact same thing happens to me with Firefox on my old computer account
Every time I opened it, the Mozilla Firefox crash report popped up.
It sucked, because i had to uninstall and reinstall it, losing all my favorites, bookmarks, add-ons, plugins, all that

If you can get any access at all try updating to IE8
Or Firefox/Safari

OR Uninstall it and reinstall it (using windows- doesn't need internet connection)

Actually, no. It operates with a different engine and loads pages slightly different. But to most people, a browser is a browser, so you might not noticed a big difference. Some of the buttons look differently, but you will still have all of the important stuff (like the back/forward buttons, the address bar, the options and stuff).
