I happen to be a waitress. This job is my first job ever, it's kind of alright, but there are people that drive me fucking insane! Like, this one lady orders something, and then she said she never ordered it, and makes me change her order. She's like so rude, it's not even funny.
I know that my job involves community service, and I have to treat ALL costumers with respect, but shouldn't they respect me as well?

Ya, I'm at a coffee shop too. And a there's a woman like that to me. I swear I could just...
I just told my manager. Now whenever she comes in my manager takes her ordfers instead. But seriously they should respect you. You are serving them.

Seriously.
I hate when people do that. They should APPRECIATE or not show up at all.

Well is she old? Is she a frequent customer? Do the other employees experience this? How frequent does she act this way?
Ya, the woman for mine fortunately stopped coming more often.

She's older.
and yes, she does come on a regular basis. She usually always acts like this when I am the only waitress on floor.

Ya think this out for a bit. Then discuss it with your manager. This is not tolerable.

You've obviously never served the "spit soup". It makes you feel a whole lot better :D
As long as youre courteous to your table, youre doing an excellent job. Theres no way to deal with them except ignoring them.

A bit too late. On friday my manager called me. It was a bad call, actually. Apparently her supervisor had a meeting with her, my co-worker some other employee from a different department.
To make this short, her supervisor was going to fire me, due to "being obnoxious against costumers. Rolling my eyes ALL the time. and, not doing my job". Which in fact are all lies. I can't stand liars, and won't tolerate them.
I'm filling in a resignation form tomorrow. I gave them two weeks notice. Next week will be my last.

its a shame you are kinda being forced out. the same sort of thing happened to my sister, but somehow she is doing ok now and hasn't had any problems since. but a few people have told me now that if you work with the public, you have to assume they are all idiots and are all stupid. my girlfriend has similar frustrations working at kfc. i hope you can get another job easily chay.
