I have always been very subconscious about my size.
Im surrounded by People who seem to be perfect.
Skinny, Large chested, and clear skinned.
I am non of these :(.
I tried to diet, But My Mum realized early on that something was wrong with me, and made sure that I was eating properly.
I then resorted to Making myself sick after meals.
My friends found out one day, after one of them walked in on me Forcing myself to throw up in the girls bathroom.
She took this matter very seriously and proposed that we go to the gym together every saturday.
I have now realized my stupidity and am Grateful to have a friend like her :).
The longing to be " Skinny " Has also disappeared .
I now just wish to tone up and be " slim " .
Has anyone else here beaten an eating disorder ?

It's great that you have beaten bulimia :D I know how hard this is!
I have a history of EDs myself.
In 2004 I had anorexia. My attempt at recovery did not finish well and so I went straight into binge-eating disorder in beginning 2006 and gained a bunch of unnecessary weight. Towards the end of 2006 this developed into bulimia and I am still currently recovering from it. But as you can probably tell from my photo I am nowhere near slim and so bulimia has actually made me gain weight rather than lose it. *Sighs* If only I could learn to love myself one day. :( But then we all know that EDs are about underlying issues so I guess it won't be easy.

I'm truly proud of you hun, and as for lou-lou please just learn to respect yourself, I'm a heavy person myself, and i dont worry too much. I'm actually a bit of a chubby-chaser. :)
And as for everyone willing to listen. No matter how pretty, beautiful, gorgeous, or hot you are. No one, NO ONE will like you if you're not a genuine and nice person. The inside DOES count. Never forget that.

Has anyone else here had an eating disorder ?
I had a brief bulimia phase, spiraled from my view of my own body and how i used to severly hate my own image, but i got really quite skinny and I realised that being skinny wasnt the way to go, My realtionship that gave me demons that made me self-harm cleared my bulimia, because she also had eating disorders, she had a really intense compulsion to be 7stone and she help me beat it and I think I managed to get her to eat a little more that usual she would still think she was fat at 7stone, a little petit girl with huge boobs. but shit happens and life gets crap. but I think for girls there is a huge amount of pressure to be skinny and with guys its really different I think being a bulimic male, because he media makes us trive toward muscles and bulk not skinny and snappable but I think my bulimia was purely self abusive and not really cosmetic like alot of issues bulimic and anorexia females have.
