wet dream/ masturbaition problem.

I'm new here.... I am 13 and never masturebaited before. I'm kinda afraid of masturbaiting and just dont want too... now I'd be fine with not masturbaiting but i heard about wet dreams... what do i do not to have them besides masturbaiting since i dont want to....

There is no way to prevent a wet dream without masturbating, IF you are a guy who gets wet dreams. Some guys get wet dreams, some dont. Like me for example, I have never gotten a wet dream in my life, no matter if I havn't masturbated for a day, or a month.
If you are a guy who gets wet dreams, whether or not you choose to masturbate is up to you. You can lock the door, do it when no one is home, or do it very late at night when everyone is sleeping.

Edit: Well, there is a way, but if you're worried about getting caught masturbating, then I won't even mention it :P

I'd personally be more afraid of a wet dream than masturbation! Think of the mess; it gets all in your sheets and PJ's and think of how fun THAT is to explain to your parents, or have to sneak into the laundry and wash your sheets yourself! I know parents "understand" at this age these things are going to happen, but for me the whole embarrassment of the situation is MY worst fear. You really have no reason to fear masturbation. Why exactly are you so afraid? Is there any like distinct reason? Whatever it is, just keep telling yourself that it's normal and healthy, and think rationally. Heck, they've even linked masturbation to preventing certain cancers!

The reason you have wet dreams is because your body releases the stored up sperm and replaces it with new sperm. You need to ejaculate every now and then so if you don't masturbate you will have wet dreams.

Hey man. It's a strange fear isn't it? Just don't work yourself up to an orgasm. Stop when you get close. Each time it will scare the crap out of you, but you'll get more and more curious until it happens.

However, masturbating definitely falls into the optional category, and if you don't feel comfortable jacking off right now, then I would not do so. Once you are mature enough physically you will probably have a wet dream. Just do what you feel is comfortable because none of us know your situation. All I can say is that nearly all teen guys masturbate, and your father surely must have done so, too. If you feel comfortable enough to do so, then talk with your father or older siblings about your question so that you can get reassurance for your doubts.

What I meant to say is that only if you are close with your father or older brother that you should get reassurance from them that masturbating is normal. I am not saying you should discuss your sex life with them but rather you want to know that your feelings of sexuality are normal. It is always helpful to have your father on your side as just in case your Mum catches you masturbating or notices semen stains on your clothes your father will be able to talk to her and tell her to leave you alone. Your father was probably just like you when he started out in puberty, and he would be your best resource assuming you both like each other.
