What is the system like in your area? Pretty good

For instance what grades are elementary, middle/jr. high, and high/sr. high?
Elementary: 1-5
Middle School: 6-8
High School: 9-12

Do kids take their education serious in your area? No. I hate it, almost no one (including teachers) take it seriously. I mean they list for like 30 minutes who did well in sports, and all that crap. Like every day. They think everyone will survive on sport skills that will never go further than high school

Do the teachers and such seem that they care? Usually they care about the students, and some care about the education

Is there anything you would like to this questionaire? Nope

I should have come up with more questions if I knew people were gonna answer it in survey form but if you have some just tell me and I will add it.

For me:
What is the system like in your area? We are a pretty good system. Some times peeople dont reawlly give us enough credit for the stuff we do but it is pretty good. The parents care, the admins usually care, the parents USUALLY care (wanted to clarify) the kids, some of them care. I mean we do pretty good. I dont really know how to explain.

For instance what grades are elementary, middle/jr. high, and high/sr. high? Elemetary K-5 Middle 6-8 High 9-12

Do kids take their education serious in your area? Some do. I would say about half of the school does. Then there is that other half that doesn't and I am not sure if that is good or bad.

Do the teachers and such seem that they care? Yes, my teachers usually care. They have always been nice and caring and striving to get the best out of us. Usually.

Is there anything you would like to this questionaire? Yes, I like my school. :D

For instance what grades are elementary, middle/jr. high, and high/sr. high?

well in australia there are 4 levels of school and then different options after that. there are minor differences between states, but in the state i live in, it goes like this:

kindergarten - yr 2 is infants school
yr 3 - yr 6 is primary school
yr 7 - yr 10 is junior high school
yr 11 - y12 is senior high school

infants and primary schools are mostly in the same school, so when you start there in infants school, you keep going to the same place until year 6. the same applies for high school. juniors and seniors all go to the same place, despite the difference in names. you can tell the difference in the school i go to because the juniors and seniors have different uniforms.

What is the system like in your area? I like it, I feel like the teachers care to a point, most of the kids care. There is a bunch who don't though.

For instance what grades are elementary, middle/jr. high, and high/sr. high? We have two schools. K-6 and 7-12. Not many students or teachers, we live in a small town.

Do kids take their education serious in your area? Some do, some don't.

Do the teachers and such seem that they care? Again, some do, some don't.

Is there anything you would like to this questionaire? Nope, not that I can think of.

What is the system like in your area? There's two main school division in the city. One is Seven Oaks, which is more "private" and funded. Also this division is for the "richer" residentials. Then there's School Division No.1, which is much more government affiliated and this is located in the centre of the city and is designated for the "average" people. This system alone is pretty stupid to me. What does your class have to do with the education you get? It's just pathetic especially since the School Division No.1 has the higher rate of graduations.

For instance what grades are

Elementary: Nursery-Grade 6
Middle/jr. high: 7-9
High/sr. high: 9-12

OR

Elementary: Nursery-Grade 9
Middle/jr. high: 7-9
High/sr. high: 9-12

Do kids take their education serious in your area?
The city is somewhat stereotypical against a certain race. And it's odd because it's true that these certain race of people are the ones to drop out of school.

Do the teachers and such seem that they care?
Of course. They even raised up the credit requirements for high school by 3 credits. Also the teachers in my high school had pracically everyones respect for thay wanted to make us successfull.

Is there anything you would like to this questionaire?
Are the schools being funded adequately by the government?

Do kids take their education serious in your area? Some do, some dont.

Do the teachers and such seem that they care?

Of course the teachers care, they always want to get the best out of you.

Is there anything you would like to this questionaire?

Nope.

What grades are elementary, middle/jr. high, and high/sr. high?
- Elementary: 1-6
- Jr. High: 7 & 8
- High School: 9-12

Do kids take their education serious in your area?
-No. About 30% do, the other 70% are either dropped out or just want their high school diploma and want to enter the work force immediately. I think a good 35% of my original freshmen class dropped out by senior year.

Do the teachers and such seem that they care?
- Oh ya. We're considered an econoically depressed area, so they know that a lot of the kids here have hard home lives. The teachers that were at my high school onl wanted the best for the students. Actually, one of my teachers told me that the first and most important question during interviews is how much they care abot students and their success.

Is there anything you would like to this questionaire?
- Hm... I'll think about it.
