I gave sumone rep+ then gave another person rep+ then i went back to that original persona nd rep'd em again for a diferent post. it would let me why is that

You not supposed to give the same person rep unless you have given 12 people rep in between, to prevent people making multiple accounts and getting their rep up really high.

i can't find it in the rep guide, but..

i'm pretty sure you can only give 5 rep's a day and there have to be 12 before you can rep the same person again (to prevent abuse of the system)

If someone made multiple accounts to get their rep up then they would have a hard time because you have to get your post count up to get your rep power. Also it's just like alex said so no one will abuse the system

ok, lets not argue with an admin, but basicly i think you get it

i seldom rep (unless something really botheirng me (rule breaks are reported of courese)or really good), but it's a decent system.

This is correct. You can't constantly give rep to the same person over and over or in intervals so close to each other, because that would be unfair. Rep is supposed to be for everybody, not one person. Just because you think 1 person is a good poster doesn't mean they deserve all the rep.

Are you sure it's 8? I've heard that before but it's never been confirmed so I've never put it in the rep guide.

I thought it was 12 people. Thats the number that popped in my head unless it was changed or I was wrong.

Well from looking at my control panel, it says 8.
