Well I am going into high school in under two months, grade nine, and I am so nervous but one thing that is making me not nervous is being able to have showers with 55+ kids, at the same time, Is that just because of being curious right now or what?

I think it's probably a measure of your self confidence that you're OK with showers but not OK with other aspects of HS. You probably feel OK about your appearance and development, so you're not worried about being exposed.

However, if you feel enough OK about yourself to be naked in front of 55 other guys, that means that you have the ability to address the other things that are currently making you less confident. Maybe we can help?

A year ago I was exactly in your position. The answer is no. most schools people do not shower during the gym classes. Most schools kids shower communaly at sports practice and such. You shouldn't be concerned. Also, I am sure that even if peopel did shower it would not be your fellow freshies. Take it from me, you will be fine. Just don't sweat it, people really don't shower that much in school anymore. However, if they did, just relax, stay to your self and walk out like a man. :)

Im going into 9th grade too, and im a little nervous with my 5 inch. by the way, is that a normal length for age 14?

Thanks will update post later with more info a little busy right now but yea we have to take showers after gym like you don't have to but most of them do.

i was scared of that too going into highschool, and really the schools dont make you shower, and a lot of times you dont have time too. as well as you only really shower if you do swimming and in that case you keep your bathing suit on if you want. other than that its just like middle school the standard no commando on PE days

You will always worry about things, it's natural. If we didn't then we wouldn't be who we are. Anyway, everyone gets worried when going to a new school, as long as your not cacking your pants then it's fine. Just get confidence, meet some people, get talking.
If you hide in the corner, it won't help.
It's not as bad as everyone makes it out to be!
