I do understand. It's unfair to make a judgement about something you don't know about; that's like if my friend and I were talking about bands, and I listened to both bands and said that I liked band A better than band B, but he only listened to band A and said that was better than band B.
He doesn't even know how band B sounds, so how can he make a judgement comparing the two?

But I'm not going to take the time to look up Stalin's history. Even though it doesn't completely seem fair, it is my opinion. So my opinion about Hitler stands.

Exactly! You are still entitled to your opinion. It is 0='s opinion that Zach's opinion of Stalin vs. Hitler is less. Exactly an opinion!

Good for you. I really don't give a shit. I just wanted everyone to cut the bullshit about me trying to oppress their views. The whole time I was just arguing against fallacious logic. Your opinion is perfectly valid, but your logic behind it is fallacious. No one's opinion is any better than anyone else's; the logic behind their opinions differs.

Our logic and views are different?

yes and in turn because you were trying so hard to be right, you got a thread locked. Maybe you should just be a little nicer and respect people's opinions

you were oppressing our views because you were saying we were stupid because we didn't consider all possibilites. Although that's what makes a good debater, we're not freakin perfect.

Well, I knew I was right, so I argued my point. It's not my fault that everyone kept accusing me of belittling your opinions. I was just trying to get the point across that I was just explaining why the logic was flawed. You even admit that it is, so I really don't understand why it even continued beyond my original explanation.

But our logic is wrong IN YOUR OPINION.

No, it was fallacious no matter how you look at it. I don't even have a damn clue why you're even involved. It was Zach's post that I was responding to.

So Zach's basing his opinion on what he knows is fallacious? This makes no sense to me. Please - educate me.

What's the topic of this thread? I'm confused.

I already explained it many times. Not my problem if you don't understand at this point. Have a nice day.

1. Bobby is my friend and we often stick up for each other.
2. When you look at my opinion as a fact, it is fallacious.
But as an opinion, it is an opinion.
The defintion of an opinion: A personal belief or judgment that is not founded on proof or certainty.
An opinion doesn't have to always be a completely beautiful perfectly flawless thing.
3. Are you trying to be Vulcan? In case you don't know, Vulcan are a fictional species popularized by the TV show Star Trek; Vulcan are known for their extreme sense of logic, and suppression of emotions in order for them to not interfere with their logic.

I see that you're trying to be the embodiment of logic.
Well, maybe you should expand your logic in order to encompass the fact that even though something might not be completely factual, if it is an opinion, you should respect it; because if you don't, people are going to get insulted, you're not going to understand why, and both sides may hold grudges and hold uncessesary tension. And tension, is illogical.

Now you have a nice day, or night, and if it's night, sleep on that.

Bobby I want this thread locked.
