Am I being followed? Why?

Ok so early in the morning, everyday I get up and jog half a mile, and recently for this whole week! I think I'm being followed! but not by a pedophile or something, ok the first day some girl like a year older than me was hiding behind a tree, just watching me! I have never seen this girl before ever! she got away before I could ask her why, then the following day A 16 year old *he looked about that age* was up in a tree watching me do sit ups at the park, when I notice him, I say "hey, what are you looking at?" then he jumps out of the tree *not a big tree, kind of small but alot of leaves to hide in* he just freaking runs like hell! I couldnt catch up to him!, and today, I was creeped out, so I went a different way then the way I was followed both times, so I was running around the lake a few streets away from my house, and I tripped, I got back up and my gaze drifted to the side of where I was and this big muscley guy was hiding behind a dumpster watching me! and then when I went after him of course he out ran me, but he left a note behind saying to not come outside in the morning, what the heck!? I'm extremely afraid even go outside at all! what should I do?

Maybe they are trying to help you. But probably not. Take a camera with you next time and try to get a picture to show to you're parents. I would try and keep some distance from them. Have you/they just moved into that neighbor hood.? I wouldn't worry about it. If they keep doing it try and get the picture and tell someone.

So did it sound like a threat the note? I would report it to the police it could be serious.

Call the cops, tell them someone has been following you, and show them the note.
Ask for protection, but if they don't give it to you, stay inside for a couple days while they figure it out.

Get pepper spray and call the cops. When I say pepper spray i mean just bung some hairspray and vinegar into a small spray bottle and carry it with you. If someone strange approches you, spray, call the cops and run like a bat out of hell.

You don't want to intentionally hurt someone like that then you would be in more trouble than them especially if it's just you carrying a weapon.

If they're stalking him he's well within his rights. It's self defence. PLUS if he has long/spiked hair he can just say its for emergencies ;) But if this happened to me this is what I'd do personally. Just don't take someting like a penknife!

well theres more to it! I mean now that weird girl and the 16 year old looking boy, they are both following me! and whats more, the girl somehow knows who I am......and the boy somehow knows where I live, and now I'm wondering what it is exactly they want from me......

That's really creepy. So we've established they're not on a rescue mission or to tell you the matrix is real... Best advice I can offer is:
1. ALWAYS carry hairspray* or some kind of eye irritant. It's one of the best non-physical self defence method. You could also search youtube on how to make smoke bombs/smoke grenades. Although that's not legal.
2. If they approch you, attack first, ask questions later. For all you know they could have a gun.
3. If a GROUP approch you, spray whatever into their eyes, fall down onto the floor and do a sweeping kick to knock them over. Then run.
4. This should have been first, but CALL THE COPS and CARRY A MOBILE!!! Not only can the mobile let you call someone in case of emergency, if it's a cameraphone you can film them/take a picture of them as evidence.
5. Try not to go out alone. You're a lot more vunerable by youself, even if you can bend steel bars with your eyelids.

* Don't carry big cans for crying out loud. Spray hotsauce, vinegar or cleaners will work too. It's proven that normally a can of hairspray or a bottle of bleach is more effective than homemade pepper spray, but if you can add spices (Paprika and garlic) too then that's great., you can kind of just mix in the paprika or juice the garlic. Onions work great too. I must sound like a criminal mastermind here....

EDIT: If you DO decide to make pepper spray pepper, cayenne and chilli powder are also useful. Paprika + chilli powder with onion juice and vinegar as the solvent would destroy someones eyes. Not as effective as normal pepper spray but damn it, you're close.

stalk them. you creep along in the woods beside the road u normally run and try to catch one of them waiting and hiding. if u see they have a weapon and it would normally be covered up when u ran past, call the cops. or theres the possibility that its just some people who live to gather and see u run past and are pulling a prank. I would go run my same rout but with a very obvious baseball bat, possibly some fake blood on it with some dents, but thats just me (hehe). hope i could help

Go out like 1 hour before you run and hide with a NON FLASH CAMERA take there pics. Also they have some cool spy gear at wall mart that enhances your hearing so maby you can hear what they are talking about. That stuff is in the toy isle at the wall mart by me. MAKE SURE THE CAMERA YOU USE IS A NON FLASH CAMERA YOU DON'T WANT THEM TO KNOW YOU TOOK THERE PICTURE. They might try and take your camera and hurt you. Then report there pics to the police. Oh and you could buy an airsoft gun and a holster and run with it on your hip. Paint the orange tip black. If your dad owns any guns go in your backyard in the morning and pull off a couple shots. Then go out with your airsoft gun on your hip. WOW I JUST NOTICED YOU LIVE AT FORT MEADE MY DAD IS STATIONED THERE!!!!!!

You can do what you want, but a lot of people have put some things up here that could put you in danger or get you in trouble that might be unnecessary. I’m sure these plans could deal with this, but I think there are better, less dangerous yet equally if not more effective, ways to deal with this. So far you've seen multiple people within a short amount of time obviously watching you and one of them left a note seemingly with the intent to scare or threaten you. I'm fairly certain that this is worthy of the police. Tell them and your parents, I hope that they would take you seriously when it comes to something like this. And if your parents don’t, one of your teachers, your friends, your friends’ parents, the police, one of them will help you. Don't do anything dangerous or illegal, or even on the verge of being illegal, it will just get you in trouble and make everything more complicated. Just stop the running for a little till it can be sorted out. Basically try and avoid them wile you get adult help.

Trust your instincts though, I'm sure your sensible enough to do what is right. If you feel like you shouldn’t do something or like the plan is a bit sketchy; don’t do it. That goes for anything I said to you as well.

Could be a number of different things combined but its not our place to diagnose someone over the internet based on assumptions

But yeah.. Your advice seems the most sensible. I am guessing if those guys are really following him their just pulling some prank that they think is funny
