I AM A GUY AND I AM PRETTY SURE U YOU GIRLS KNOW ALL ABOUT GUYS GETTING
CUT OR CIRCUMCISIED. But I found out that in some parts of the world even girls get circumcised? They cut of the clit.

is there a question here? if you are asking if female circumcism happens, then yes it does. a teacher at school tried to explain once and left all the girls in particular feeling sick. it involves the stiching up of the vagina so that no sexual activity can occur. i can't remember cutting off the clitoris as being part of it, maybe it is?

I think there is something where they cut off the outer labia or something like that. I don't think they cut off the clitoris though.

There are different degrees of this. In the most severe, the whole of the vagina is stitched up and the clitoris is removed.

The uthrea is infront of the vagina so it isn't affected.

I believe the more widely accepted name for this is Female Genital Mutilation.

I was reading that 80% of Ethiopian women get circumcised. I think it is more radical than male circumcision. Instead of just the foreskin, it is more (part of the clit).

You really cannot circumcise a girl the way you can a guy.

For many reasons, genital cutting has been a ritual or right of passage in many cultures for centuries. In some cultures, there's cutting of some part of the female sexual anatomy (typically, cutting the clitoral hood, or sometimes the labia). This isn't really 'circumcision', or 'cut around' (as in 'cut around' the penis).

What the OP is referring to, removing the entire clitoris (the center of sexual pleasure for girls) is called subexcision, or "deep/total cutting" (as in total removal of the clitoris).

In other cultures, the sewing up of the vaginal opening is more common, but largely to 'guarantee' virginity.

These last two practices, mercifully and thankfully, have been banned in most countries, although they still occur in 'back rooms', by those who feel strongly about performing them. Alas, I'm not sure the girls would respond with similiar enthusiasm.

I've heard its cultral practice in some African countries and i dont think that i like the the idea of girls being circumcised...:mad:
