After ignoring each other for over a year,
And by some accidental dial of the phone in my purse,
A day of phone tag,
And talking on the phone for over an hour,
My ex and I are back to being good friends again,
Like we were before we started dating = ]
For those who don't know,
We dated for like a year in high school,
Then broke up because he wanted to experiment with his sexuality,
Then started fighting because he would always call me,
Looking for comfort sex when he would 'get his heart broken' by the guy that he would be with.
We talked about how childish we were when we fought,
We caught up on what's happened to each other in the last year,
He told me that he's officially out of the closet gay,
And that he's with a great guy.
Told me that he is doing my hair once he's out of beauty school,
Whether I like it or not,
And that we're going to Canada to get drunk when I turn 19, lol.
It felt good to catch up,
It was just the right closure that I needed on our romantic relationship,
And just the right start up to rekindle our old friendship,
Because we were like best friends before dating.
We're going to hang out when he comes down from Washington,
Threatened to 'kill' me if I didn't call him more often, lol.
It feels soooooo good :)
