He walks out of the room
Closing the door behind him,
With a gun in hand,
There's no stopping him.
He pulls the Glock .19
Out of its holster
On his left side
He points it at the sky.
He shouts out, why oh why
God please help me now
He fires once then twice
He screams, God you'll die tonight.
He looks up to the sky
He wonders why oh why
God will never die
He wonders what is up there.
He wonders what's above
The sky and all the stars,
He wonders what's greater
Than the universe...
He knows there is something
Greater than us all
But he does not know what
It is or how it works.
He doesn't know if it
Possesses emotion
Or if it doesn't know
A breeze from a hurricane.
He doesn't understand
But he wants to
Life has always been hell
And now he wants answers.
Something must know why
Something must know how
Something up above
Something greater than.
But there is nothing there,
The bullets spiraling
Up then down again
Hit him in each eye.
Now he's bleeding out
Of an orifice
Necessary to
See and comprehend.
Now he's dying on
A sidewalk in the rain
No one there to save him,
His body lifeless, now there is no pain.
Blood is pouring out
Mixing with the rain
Turning into a
Reddish, hellish haze.
He no longer can respirate
Or think, properly at all
He no longer can breathe
In the oxygen.
He is dying now [or is he already dead?]
How oh how oh how
He does not know,
Nobody knows.
No one can know.
No one will ever know.
Closing the door behind him,
With a gun in hand,
There's no stopping him.
He pulls the Glock .19
Out of its holster
