Im not sure if this is in the right place but I put it here becasue it has to do with growth, I want to get one of them vibration belts for your stomach to give you more muscles (like a six pack) but my parents are sort of against it becasue first of all Im 14 but also becasue my dad think it could mess with my bones and stuff since Im only growing, can you please tell me if this is true

Well there's those reasons... plus it's a load of crap that doesn't work :D

If you want muscles, you have to work for them, do crunches/situps and be diligent if you want results. These stupid machines are scams, a waste of money, and they could have negative effects on your body.

You mean that one belt that you can strap on, and it shocks your muscles to make them contract in order to give you abs? That thing on tv??

Omg, dude, "ab builder" products are such bullshit. Everybody wants abs, but it really is a waste of time and money to buy a special machine for that.
In fact, many people find that just excercising (running, weight lifting) burns so much body fat that you can see your abs if you just do that. And with crunches, situps, etc, then you are sure to get it

Bottom line: Don't waste your time and money on "ab builder" products.

Ha like they used to do in the old days?

Anyways bro, from personal experience doing a little cardio, like running around the neighborhood, or maybe a neighborhood you like helps. It's great especially when your body really gets toned up, you can run without a shirt and watch all the ladies drool.

I have found that if I do 100 crunches + 50 push-ups + 50 tri-ceps before I'm about do do something (get on the computer, leave to hang out with my friends, watch the tele or sit around) really shows. It's not really that much work but in order to get results you've got to put in some effort.

Maybe if you've got a few buds you can do a social work-out or go to the gym where there are less distractions.

Do cardio exercise and get on the floor and do crunches after. There's no easier way.

I agree with your dad, DO NOT purchase one of those.
Basically, what they do is; when they vibrate, they stimulate the muscle(s) so many times per minute, as happens when you are exercise.
Getting one of these at your age is def. not a good idea. Can I ask why, at that age, you want a six pack anyway? If you want to be more fit and a bit more (cut), I suggest a diet high in protein (though with an extra side of good old fruit and vege, being healthy is good) and some exercise.
It's irresponsible and illogical to try and get anything like a six pack at 14; at that age, your body is still going through puberty and other such changes, so your body wouldn't respond as well to rigorous training etc to try and get the body you want at this stage.
Wait a bit, until you're older, then you can try and achieve that. Though seriously; those vibration-things don't really work; what they don't tell you in the ads is that they are meant to be used in conjunction with a diet, exercise, weight-lifting and crunches.

Well there's nothing wrong with a six pack. I got one while I was 14, but that was just through running and crunches and being lean, not through unnatural methods.
