I was just noticing that the guys puberty forum is packed most of the time when the girls is not.

My opinion is that guys are so scared of what their friend think of they ask them about something. Aswell as young boys are not open enough with their fathers. Girls just askin their mom about stuff because feel more secure to talk to them about that kind of stuff. Girls also feel comfortable to talk to their friends about stuff. So that leave the guys and some girls out their with unaswered question about all the mysterious thing happening to their bodies. I dont think society should be this way. Everyone should be able be open and know whats happenin with their body and not havin to convert to askin strangers for advice.

This is how I feel. Do you feel the same way?

I never speak to my parent's about what's going on with my body. I like to talk things over with my friends. And get advice.

I never did talk about puberty with either of my parents or any of my friends. I was completely clueless but just took it as it came.

I am often amazed by the anxiety some people have about puberty.

Thats what I mean. Parents should be more involved in their kids lives. I didnt want to be clueless.

I see where you are coming from and I dont think anyone wants to be clueless.

I just think that in some cases, it is better not to have the whole parent-child discussion. Some parents can't come to terms with the fact that they're little girl needs to start wearing bras etc or their little boy has discovered masturbation so discussing it with their child would be a nightmare.

I like to talk it through people who are at/around the same strange as me. My parents will tell me its wrong to come on this site and accuse it of a porn website. Not only that say that masturbating is dirty.

Edit: 50 posts ftw!

Yes, that's true, dudesweet101. Also, the Boy's Puberty Forum was here before the Girl's Puberty Forum, so that is why there are more posts in the Boy's forum overall.

I have someone older that I can ask anything to. So I don't need it as much.

Luckily, my parents are incredibly open about this type of thing and have discussed and asked me many times if I have any questions.
