Nothing is completly safe. You have to wear a condom and use plenty of lube, taking those precautions so make it safer.

There's special condoms out there specifically made to withstand the pressure during anal sex. Also use lube to prevent to much friction.

Is it 'dirty'? Well, I suppose that's personal, you can find out pretty easily on yourself.

The risk with anal sex is b/c that part of the body is not designed for that kind of use, the friction involved can tear or rupture the delicte tissues back there, which can be a problem, b/c the waste that's in there can then be exposed to the bloodstream, causing infection.
