reading all this stuff about bleeding and pain from ripping your hymen through using tampons scares me...
my mum says that when i (finally) start she thinks i shld use tampons.. but so many posts i've read previously have scared the heck out of me!!!!! :eek:

its not as scary as it sounds:P
i started using tampons before i broke my hymen, and it didnt hurt @ all.
infact the only difference now that i have broken it is that i used to get a bit of cramps from tampons before.

dont be scared! basically every woman uses them, how painful could it be :)

im a virgin and i use tampons it dont hurt at all and anyway ur already bleeding but i dont think ur will rip
and plus i hear wen it does its not that bad of a paine more of a quik pinch then anything like and ear piercing haha

if ur too scared just use pads.

the only reason you would have to use tampons is if you are swimming during your period. pads and tampons both offer the same protection. the choice is more of a personal one.
