Woah... I'm lucky... I guess. I always thought I was skinny but... DAMN. I just checked my BMI and I'm exactly at 18.0... I guess that comes from being 6'2'' and only 140 pounds :whoops:

25.8, "overweight"

The BMI falls apart with muscular-built guys...my body fat percent is low

Take BMI scores with a pinch of salt. BMI is dreadful when working out a persons healthy weight. It doesn't take into account muscle mass, as someone has already said.

BMI isn't really a good way to say if someone needs to lose weight or not because it doesn't take muscle weight as a factor.

I'm a distance runner, so I have very low body fat. A non-athlete with my level of body fat would be considered underweight, but it's a little different when you run a sub-five-minute mile. Just look in the mirror and take BMI lightly. If you see a bunch of pudge around your waist then you're probably overweight. If you see most of your ribs without toned muscles you're probably underweight.
