I (a male) have a HUGE crush on my friend that i've known for a little over one year. How do i find out is HE is gay? and if he IS gay, how do i tell him that I like him?

I would think that if you knew him for a little over a year, it woulda come out in some way. If not, I suppose you could ask him, but if he recoils, if he seems uncomfortable or shocked, back down and leave it alone.

Just try to bring it up in conversation. But ive learnt from experience that IF your friend is straight, then theres NO way around that crush you have. Its just something you have to deal with and let go..

Well first, your rushing things a bit.

You will know when its time to come out. Trust me, you will know.

I didn't come out until a few months ago and my parents took it very well. They accepted me for who I was. I came out to my friends a while back but still, you will know the right time and place.

Find a nice setting. A park, starbucks, maybe even a restaurant. Then begin to talk about your childhood, well that helped me, then say what you have to say.

Just remember to not rush things. If the person does not like you afterwards, then they really weren't a friend to be around in the first place.
