Uhh, where the hell did you get that?...

They've been on hiatus for a while and there's no word on them getting back to work, although recently (Or it might've been 2007) the lead singer Serj Tankian released his own solo album called "Elect the Dead". If you like SoaD, check it out. : )

0.o I like System of a Down, haven't heard anything from them in awhile... They aren't my favorite band, and I didn't even notice they were on hiatus, but still, I'm officially confused, is their lead singer dead or alive? I googled System of a Down + lead singer + death and got nothing, then I switched death with drug overdose and there was an article on the lead singer of like Metallica or something dying of a drug overdose, so yeah... 0.o I'm guessing the "rumor" that he's dead is false? 0.o

hello, if u will notice on the first post (mine) it says they are on hiatus right on it. not to brag but i think of myself as a system know it all junkie, i KNOW FOR A FACT that nobody has died. Serj Tankian (lead singer) went solo and released an album Elect the Dead. Daron Malakian (guitar) and John Dolmayan (drums) started Scars on Brodway and an album should be coming out soon. And finally Shavo Odadojin (drums) grouped up with a guy from the Woo Tang Klan and i have no interest in what is going on in that. SO THERE :cool:

For the longest time i thought the band was "System of the Down"
but luckly i relised that it was an "A" not a "the", lol. I LOVE their music though,
my favorite is either Toxicity or Chop Suey, but i also love the song "Sugar"
