Being adopted... i only remember 1 memory of my parents. It's from my real mother. Her kind supportive, caring sounding voice is what i cherish most. Yet this one memory of her brings me pain. I know it is something that I should cherish forever, but i really want to know how I would know when I am ready to hear what happened to them from my Foster mother. Why I was put up for adoption. ANd what happened to my parents. Can anybody help?

Have you tried talking to your foster parents about this?
They would probably tell you about them if you asked
If not if you knew the general area your real mom lived you could maybe put an ad i the paper?
I would ask my foster parents first if i were you

Well theres honestly not much i can do about asking her. I already asked my mother, and she said that she will tell me when the time is right. Soo i just wnted to know how I would know if that time would be near.

I was adopted, but it was a closed adoption, so I know nothing of my birth parents except birthday and like weight, height, and some medical history for obvious reasons, to know if there is like heart disease or anything bad in my blood. I've wondered about my birth parents, but I don't think I'd ever want to meet them. I do have biological siblings though that I do think would be interesting to meet, but not my parents, because they aren't my parents if you get what I mean.
