Well it really depends on what you and your parents believe in.

To me, I would just wait until I have found a great relationship with a person and then decide to have sexual relationships.

Its really all your choice. Just remember that being a virgin is a good thing. It isn't something to be ashamed or upset about. Remember to have safe sex when you find the right person.

Well do you want to have sex before marriage or do you want to wait, its a personal choice, do what you think is best for yourself

Parents have nothing to do with you deciding when to have intercourse. Wait till your ready, wait till you find that amazing girl who you know will share alot with you. BUT don't rush into it. Sex is something you have to wait for but you don't have to wait till you get married.

I think there's something in between the 2 choices you're giving us (and yourself). It's not 'wait' or 'go for it', How about 'committed relationship'?.

Being curious is a natural thing, along with having those urges. But, it's not about some vague sense of postponement or permission to just 'do it', like the availability of a urinal. It's about the relationship, who you're actually doing it with and what it means to both of you emotionally, not just sexually. And for that to happen, to have that appreciation, sometimes you have to wait. Regardless of your age.

Parents have nothing to do with you deciding when to have intercourse.

They do and they don't. Its their job to protect you and to raise you to be a good person until you are 18. The poster is not yet 18, so I would assume that his parents would make the choice for him/her to engage in sexual relationships.
