Well, I 'd say either your sister's friend is either pulling your leg, or she's misinformed. Or her brother is in serious need of a good talk.

There's no reason to save sperm in the fridge, it doesn't 'keep', it dies (probably a slow, agonizing death, LOL!). And, keeping it next to the mayonaisse makes it an easy mistake.

As an FYI, when they freeze sperm at a sperm bank, they do it with liquid nitrogen, which does it immediately, thereby preserving it and keeping it alive.
