Ask her, there really is no other way to do it. Just say "Would you like to go out with me?"

Tip numero uno! Don't seem anxious or anything, dont be like
"uhm.. hey.. i was kinda wondering... would you like tovuhm.. go out with me?"
Confidence is key! But yeah, Like KGTM said, there's no other way, just say "Would you like to go out with me?" and hey maybe she'll say yeah =]

I think this is the best way.
Seriously though, as long as you appear confident then you should be fine regardless of how you say it :)

"Well, I think you're a nice person to be around. I don't have that many friends, I don't want to stay at home by myself, so I wanted to know would you want to go out as friends over the weekend. You don't have to say yes but it would be nice."
Something like that. The most part would be to say that "you don't have to", or "I won't get mad if you don't, I was just asking."

Er.. That's pretty blunt. But yeah, just be casual. You need to lie to yourself and mentally convince yourself that you do this sorta thing all the time and one little date is no big deal. Sounds bastardly but it works! You just need the right mindset...
"I'm not doing anything later... you wanna go out some time?" Is the most casual way I think you can ask. Go get 'em, tiger. ; )

Well, I would certainly think you'll have better luck if she doesn't see that avitar pic!
Listen, you're a nice guy. Relax and be yourself and just strike up some convo a few times, wait a while until the talk is easy, then casually suggest you mive the convo to Baskin Robbins or some place.
Guys freak themselves out b/c we think we have to jump into the deep end immediately and 'ask them out'. Chill a while with her, it won't seem so overwhelming. Take your time.

If she's single she may say yes. But there is also the possibility that she will say no. If shes reasonable she will tell you you're a nice guy and all. If shes already dating you will have to wait a while. Easier said then done, I know. I really wanted to tell my really good friend *girl* that I fancy her on the last day of school before she left for the bus. But I never got the perfect moment. Now im hitting myself over it, especially not getting her number. :(

if you don't have the nerve bout asking her in person..try to email her or call her by phone or text her or invite her for a date then ask her..
Just be sure before you ask her out, you've courted her first...

confidence that is , is all you need but overconfidence could turn her off...

Just go up to her one day and be like, "Hey how are you doing? I was just wondering if maybe you'd like to go to the movies or to dinner with me sometime?"
