what is the worse way a friend can treat you when you are fighting?

for me its getting the silent treatment. i hate it from here to buggery. i would prefer to get yelled at because then i at least i know what i've done wrong. there is nothing worse in my opinion then shutting down communication, because then we are both upset and angry. when i get given the silent treatment, and i don't know what i have done wrong, it just consumes my mind and i end up going crazy because of it. its stupid i know, but being the sensative person i am, i'm always over analysing trying to find the problem whether its the right answer or not. it seriously drives me mad to be given the silent treatment and i hate it lots.

"for me its getting the silent treatment"
Hehehe, that's my perfected method!

From personal experience, it's a tie between them telling everyone things you've told them while you were friends and them making comments about any problems you may be having - possibly making it worse.

Actually, the second is the worst. For example, while I was recovering from self harm and starving myself, I got a public message (through Bebo) telling me that I cut for attention and I don't have an eating disorder because I'm too fat - I then had the worst relapse ever, which ended with me collapsing >_> He's got the silent treatment for almost 5 months now and to be honest, he's lucky if I ever so much as look at him ever again!

I don't fight with my friends,
But I fight with my sister at work ALL of the time,
For me it would be a tie between...

1) Insisting that they are right even after you've proven them wrong.

or

2) You get off of your high horse and want a truce, but they won't.
