I know there's been countless threads asking "do you speak a second language?"
well this is for those of us who don't but want to ;-)

I definately want to learn:

I'd like to learn: Japanese (OTAKU geek) Hindi (I love Indian culture almost as much as Japanese) and Danish (Because I have some friends in Denmark I met by coding lol)

I'd love to learn French so I can travel anywhere in Canada with no worries
I'd love to learn basic Spanish that way I have an understanding of the three main languages in north America
I'd love to learn Mandarin because its the most spoken language on the planet and its the offical language of an emerging superpower ("Chinese" like "American"...isn't a language)
That would give me four of the offical six languages of the UN
which would be hott

Spanish [almost fluent]
French [already know a bit]
German [know a bit]
Russian [know very little]
Japanese [yeah, in my dreams, though I do know some]
Italian [know almost null]
Latin [0.o, my brother could teach it to me...]
An African dialect used in the Sudan region [know nothing]
Of those, I'd like to learn 3-4 and I'd especially like to become fluent in Spanish and learn a good amount of French, [some] Japanese, and some African dialects [though I don't necessarily want to be fluent in them]. I want to go to Africa one day and help people out in Sudan, and I want to be able to communicate with them.

I'd to learn every language, but it was hard enough for me to start learning (and the forgetting) French >_>
I always tell my friend she's lucky, because she was born in England but her mum only speaks Veitnamese (sorry for spelling) so she's fluent in both.
I think that all languages sound beautiful -except English, which may be because it's my native tongue and [obviously] because I constantly hear it.

I speak English, Spanish and Lakota. I've always wanted to learn a few other Native languages, but they're hard to find material on. Other than that...maybe Chinese for our future overlords. Dunno.

I took three years of Spanish, so I have a pretty good knowledge in it. I can't really speak it very well, but I can usually read it.
I really want to learn Norwegian, Swedish, German, and Russian. I have a some knowledge in German, Latin, and Italian, but very, very little. Mostly just musical terms and stuff I've sang in foreign languages.
Russian would be awesome and so would Norwegian or some other Scandinavian language.

Spanish- I know a lot already, but I want to polish it up.
French- Because it's a beautiful language.
German- So that I can visit where my ancestors came from in Germany and Switzerland.
Mandarin- Because China is growing rapidly and it's going to be a necessity if I get into certain jobs.

what language(s) do you want to learn?
Well, I am taking French right now and i know bits and pieces of other languages. However, I want to become fluent in: French, German, and Spanish (along with English lol). I would also like to learn (not fluent but learn) Chinese maybe...that would be cool. That is it though. I want to be multi-lingual :D
