Down there. Best ways to do it? To not make it itch and such after?
Anything.

1) Clip the longer hair off with scissors first, or it will hurt somewhat to shave.

2) Shave against the grain... it that makes sense. Like the opposite direction of how it grows that way it's smoother and you'll get mroe hair off.

3) Afterwards I would advise putting on some lotion or baby oil to help prevent irritated skin.

Actually, it's always advised to shave downwards (so, in the direct of growth) when it comes to pubic hair - you'll get a teeny bit of stubble but that prevents any sore, itchy skin and ingrown hairs.

The rest of what Steph said I totally, 100% agree with :D

ALSO - It may hurt but waxing is THE absolute best way of getting rid of those hairs... Obviously, you probably won't get it done professionally (but they do it with almost no pain) so you'll wanna get used to waxing first - legs have tighter skin so it hurts less - then work your way up.
