Even though your Mom said this, I can guarantee you she's masturbated before! But you know she's never admit to it! She probably got this "old-fashioned" view on masturbation from HER OWN parents, it just keeps getting passed down. So nowadays people think its totally normal for guys... then when girls do it it's dirty?! That's nonsense. Masturbating has no effect on your "status" as a lady (whatever the hell that is!) you're no less of a person for doing it; I'd say its more the other way around by saying its too bad your mom is unable to accept a healthy and normal part of her sexuality!

Don't go trying to debate this with your mom (lol it could get ugly), but just understand for YOURSELF that its totally normal. She could probably just care that her "little girl is growing up too fast" and doesn't want you dabbling in that sexual part of yourself that is now starting to develope. Some parents just can't face that fact; their kids are teens now, puberty is in full swing and all things sex have just become a whole lot more interesting to them! Aww that sucks! I'm sorry you have so much trouble from her. When do you usually masturbate? If you always do it at the same time she might even be TRYING to catch you! If you have a lock on your bedroom door... USE IT. If not, try to only do it when she isn't home or after she goes to sleep. If you have to do it when she's there, go in the washroom and lock the door. Or you could even just do it in the shower!

That is a pretty bad set-up you got there. If you're able to, you might just have to do it when she isn't home. But it seems kinda weird that she's able to catch you SO often (it just seems by how you wrote it that she's doing this a lot). If you're not exactly "quiet" when you masturbate then try and be less conspicuous. And especially if you take a long time then you'd better have a good excuse for being in the bathroom so long (I doubt she'll want to come in there if you yell that you're constipated when she knocks on the bathroom door to ask why you're in there so long!).

I really feel for ya though, I get hardly no privacy with my mom home. I just have to wait until she's asleep, and luckily my room is in the basement so there's no chance of her hearing me! Wow that is REALLY stupid. She actually SAYS that only guys do it?! That is totally NOT true; although guys DO do it more frequently. The statistics are something like 95% of guys do it regularly and 80% of girls do it regularly as well. The other 20% are probably just sexually repressed like you mother is trying to do to you. If you ever have to confront her with this again just tell her:

1. Masturbation is a normal, healthy part of my sexuality whether your old-fashioned view on things likes it or not!

2. Masturbation is NOT by any means a way of defining a lady; it is a private and personal thing that has no bearing on that.

3. I'm sorry that you grew up in a time that made this a taboo subject for you, and that you've been unable to mature with how the rest of (normal) society understands masturbation as a normal thing for me to be doing.

If you have to you can throw those figures at her as well (the whole 95% and 80% thing). Hey, with such a large figure you could even tell her to stop getting on your case since she does it too! You'd have an 80% chance that she does it, right? :D
