Google spider?

So at about 12:44 a.m I was checking who was only and I went through the list and it came to google spider. Is Google like spying on us?

search machines, "spiders", search the site and give the information to the search engine so it shows up in the search. These machines find information for the search engines. Google spiders are Google's way of doing it, and Yahoo! has Slurp Spiders, etc...

lol Why would google need to spy on VT? Maybe..... redcar, Kiros, and triple7 must have some plot against google and google wants to know what it's about.
