One of the Miley Cyrus pictures that a hacker leaked on the web.By Shaun Davies, ninemsnVIEWS: 0| FLOCKS: 0| 0 comments so farA hacker who claims to have infiltrated Miley Cyrus's e-mail has leaked racy photos of the teen star on the internet, sparking a flurry of excitement on gossip blogs.
The pictures were posted to website digitalgangster.com by a hacker using the name "trainreq".
One shows Cyrus, 15, posing in a shower wearing nothing but a wet T-shirt, while a second photo shows Cyrus using her iPhone to photograph herself blowing a kiss at a mirror.
The hacker claims Cyrus sent the pictures to fellow child star Nick Jonas. A third photo shows Cyrus wearing a necklace that spells out the letters "Nick J".
There is some speculation that the photos were faked, but the owner of digitalgangster.com, Bryce Case, told ninemsn via e-mail that the pictures were "the real deal".
Mr Case, who also goes by the pseudonym YTCracker, said reports that trainreq had hacked Cyrus's iPhone were incorrect.
"[It was] not through her iPhone, as far as I know it was her personal e-mail," he said.
"A lot of the sites have . . . completely screwed up the particulars of the story, saying a hacker named the digital gangster hacked [the pictures] from her phone, which is complete bollocks."
Most members of digitalgangster.com were "ex-hackers and goof-offs . . . guys like me [who] are out of the game, just legit internet hustlers now," Mr Case said.
But members of the forums were responsible for several well-known hacks, including a raid on Paris Hilton's mobile phone and a security breach at information company Lexis Nexis in 2005, he said.
Trainreq claims to have several more photos of Cyrus that he is attempting to the highest bidder. His MySpace profile identifies him as "Josh", 19, from Largo, Florida.
The pictures are another blow to Cyrus's once squeaky-clean image.
A series of photos leaked from Cyrus's MySpace page and a provocative photo shoot for Vanity Fair magazine have already caused considerable controversy for the Hannah Montana star.
