i have such a weird problem, and i don't know what it is. i daydream alot, and i have thoughts that i want to avoid, but they keep popping in my head, and then i start having a spasm. i feel nervous and unable to feel calm. when i have a bad thought, i feel like the only way to relieve it is to hurt myself or eat something.

Daydreamin is normal it isnt a problem and spasms are from your muscles they are like twitches. Still then really have nothing to do with the your thought process. Your feeling of being uncomfortable could come from the fact that your afraid of these thoughts. All you have to do is not let them take hold of you. it really has nothing to do with ADD/ADHD.

This happens to me. I never really get spasms though. Like KGTM said. Its probably nothing to do with ADD/ADHD

The spasms you have, are they small ones or big ones?
What are your "bad" thoughts of? What makes them so bad?
I do agree that you are probably feeling uncomfortable and anxious because you are frightened and/or distressed by the thoughts you are having.
How do hurting yourself and eating help? What do you get from them?

What kind of thoughts trigger this give me an example?
It seems like you just don't know how to deal with these bad thoughts, you have to tell yourself that eating/Self Harming is not the right way to deal with this.
Try for example simply dismissing the thought as an unreal concept, or if you feel you must do something physically maybe try exercising or playing some sports.
I guess what I am getting at is find another way to cope with bad thoughts.
Good Luck!
