This is pretty much as the title says, my friend she is 14, had sex with a guy she only knew for two weeks. Also, it was unprotected. She told me she plans on doing it again. I KNOW she is not prepared to raise a kid, because she kind of immature, and she kind of has a addiction to ciggs. I am not mad at her or anything, I just think what she did was stupid and immature, because she knew before she had sex with him, that he was gonna leave because he was only visiting for the summer. I guess I'm just venting here. I still would like to know your thoughts. I don't have a problem with what she did, I just think it was stupid.

That kind of reminds me of my friend... I haven't talked to him since late June, but he had plans to go down to Georgia and have sex with a girl he hasn't seen since kindergarten, KINDERGARTEN! I think you should talk to her and let her know that what she's doing isn't right and that it has risks, major risks! I wish I could let my friend know that what he's doing is ignorant and risky, but I think its harder for guys to discuss that type of thing. Girls are usually more open. I'm sure your friend will listen to you. Just don't be demanding or anything like that. Just let her know that there are risks involved and that you care for her. Let her know you don't want her getting pregnant or getting hurt either emotionally or physically. Also let her know that she could get an STI/STD from unprotected sex... She may already know all this, but hearing it from a friend could help. Just let her know you care and that you think her decisions are questionable. Let her know that there are risks and that you don't want her to take those risks...

somwtimes we do things that are stupid, although it sounds like a great idea at the time. all you can do is point out her wrongs, but its up to her what she does. all these things are a learning experience, lets hope this one won't be a life changing mistake for her.

I don't have a problem anymore really, she is gonna use protection next time anyway. I did tell her to be more careful though.

My best friend used to be like that,
Sex with a stranger with no protection.
It's her choice to do so,
So you just have to try and talk some sense into her,
If she'll listen that is
If she won't, she'll just have to learn the hard way,
Or wait to grow up some to realize that sex with
An aquaintance of two weeks is not the smart thing to do.

I'm sorry about your friend but it's the world. You know how the world is today people have sex with other people they've only known for a few hours at parties. Talk to her if you think it will be of any use at all, but other wise there's nothing you can do.
If she's smoking and showing this kind of behavior maybe your better off without her anyways, but I know it's hard to have to let a friend go when all you wanna do is just seem them better themselves in life.
Your a good friend for caring, like I said it sounds like you guys have a pretty good relationship, maybe you can talk her out of ruining her life.

i don't think there is a baby to worry about here, yet! so thats some good news. but hopefully if she is going to have protected sex now, thats something i guess. but having sex with basically strangers is still stupid and hopefully your friend, caitlin, will stop doing this.
