i have a question about getting pregnant. are you only able to get pregnant during the ovulation stage, or is the risk of pregnancy the same through the whole month.

although the risk of pregnancy is higher at some times, you still have a risk of getting pregnant if you have unprotected sex at all.

It's highest during ovulation,
And lowest right after your period.
You're always at risk,
So always use protection.
But if you want to have unprotected sex,
DO NOT have sex the week before and the week of ovulation
If you do not wish to get pregnant.

Most fertile during ovulation (approx. day 14), however, that precise moment is often inconsistent. And, sperm can live in the vaginal tract for up to 4 days, making you fertile for at least that amount of time. The closer those 4 days are to the middle of your cycle, the more fertile you are.

Facts and figures aside, you should never try to "get around" an ovulation schedule. Unless you're TRYING to get pregnant, always use a condom!
