if you want my answer for me yes it did but my first period story was so embarassing! because i didnt have any pads or tampons and my friends didnt have any because they hadnt had periods yet so i just freaked out because it felt really wierd and uncomfortable

I got cramps before I got my period. I didn't know what was going on when it happened, but then when I started getting my period I made the connection. I didn't get cramps after that for a while, though. Weird.
