Vaseline is a trademark reference to petroleum jelly. It is also a brand of skin creams, lotions, cleansers, deodorants and lubricant produced by Unilever.
Petroleum Jelly: Petroleum jelly, petrolatum or soft paraffin [1] is a semi-solid mixture of hydrocarbons (with carbon numbers mainly higher than 25),[2] originally promoted as a topical ointment for its healing properties. Its folkloric medicinal value as a "cure-all" has since been limited by better scientific understanding of appropriate and inappropriate uses (see Uses below). However, it is recognized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as an approved over-the-counter (OTC) skin protectant and remains widely used in cosmetic skin care.

Anyway, you can get it at pretty much any drug store, because its commonly used for lubrication, and other things.

Just remember to be careful, because vaseline will eat through condoms - don't ever use it as lubricant if you're going to be using a condom for intercourse or anything else. Use a water-based lube like KY Jelly or AstroGlide for that.
